Merry and Bright

Merry Christmas to all! The Huebners had a really nice visit from Santa. The kiddos were spoiled rotten.

It was a great holiday for us and hope it was for everyone else!

Seattle Holiday Events

A day with the Bartels. We had a blast - we hit the Teddy Bear Suite at the Fairmont and the kids didn't want to leave. Sloane had some tears about leaving the bears behind. We walked in the drizzle to the Gingerbread Village at the Sheraton but the line was HORRENDOUS so we moved along to the carousel. Kiddos loved that too - J was particular about having a blue horse and L was just happy to be there. We ended our evening with greasy burgers at Johnny Rockets. It was a great day!

Holiday and Sunday best

Posing by the tree... "mom, please take my picture!"

Sleepy sister

Poor London got a little trampled at dance today - she escaped with a bloody nose and a fat lip. Because of her drama from the trauma she didn't nap... But she sure got tired!

Here Comes Santa Claus...

J way super excited to tell Santa what was on his wish list (the Ninja Turtle Shellraiser vehicle and a samurai castle). You can tell by his huge, cheesy grin that he was happy to be there.

L was another story... Though she held it together and isn't shed tears, she was super unhappy with our choice of activity. Another positive was getting her bows in her hair and not having her rip them out immediately.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours and best wishes for the New Year!

Thankful

Meant to post ON Thanksgiving... So grateful for our two little bundles of joy. Though they test our patience daily, we wouldn't trade them for anything. We are truly blessed.

Happy Halloween 2012

Preschool party (I got to do snacks), PreK costume parade, downtown Duvall trick or treat complete with a photo from Serendipity (unfortunately J wouldn't join), Redmond Town Center trick or treat AND birthday dinner with Grandma and family. It was a busy day.

Trunk or Treat

2 nights in a row... Lucky, candy-hoarding children. They were worn out after though. Now to prepare for the Halloween day trick or treating events downtown Duvall AND at Redmond Town Center. Busy bees.

Camp Korey - Fall Festival

First pumpkins of the season and a good time for a good cause. We ate pumpkin pancakes, guessed the weight of the giant pumpkin, saw some animal friends and picked pumpkins to bring home. J even pushed them all by himself to the car from the patch.

Pumpkin patch

Field trips with each of the kids preschool classes. We picked sugar pumpkins that we'll use for pumpkin chowder and pie... Mmmm.

Happy 88th!

Something to be proud of... Happy birthday G! We had a great time celebrating.

We love preschool!

Football

It's been a rough season for the Wolves with lots if changes and a young team. J and L still enjoy the games and hanging with Wolfy.

Extracurricular

Kids have been enjoying their respective activities - J has been in soccer since March and L started dance late September. They have a blast and even enjoy watching one another.

1st day of preschool

London started 2s class today! She got shy at some points but I think she's going to like the socializing.

Poor J was supposed to start Pre K but he woke up with a fever. He'll be more than ready next week!

Tis the season...

No, not the holiday season... Football season. I am a single parent until December. But the kids are looking forward to daddy's games and we are looking forward to Husky ball at the CLink.
