New Year's Goal 2015

This year my goal is to blog again - keep some sort of journal for our family. 2014 and 2015 have passed since my last post and that's just insane... I mean, we've had another baby since then and celebrated his 1st birthday. Yikes. Fortunately, I discovered ChatBooks over the past couple years so we actually have hard copy albums from Instagram posts - those are fun!

In any case, best to note some highlights from our 2 year hiatus from the blog:

2014
February - Jaydan turns 6
April - Dirk turned 40! We celebrated with a party at the Redmond Bar and Grill. Friends and family came to join us and it was a very fun time. He welcomed the new decade with the same grace I hope to when I turn 40 ;)
June - London turns 5 (Sara missed her party, stuck on bedrest); Camden was born on the 12th, sharing the day with Steve.
July - 4th at Obs. First time for J and L to light off their own fireworks and they had so much fun!
August - 10 year wedding anniversary! We had a casual celebration with a dinner in Redmond.
September - J started 1st grade (Mrs. Bellecourt)
October - Halloween in town: J skipped but dressed as a ghost, L as a unicorn

2015
February - J turns 7
June - London turns 5; London graduated from preschool, J finished 1st grade; Camden turns 1
July - family trip to Sun Cove
August - 11 year anniversary
September - J started 2nd grade (Mrs. Coats), L started kindergarten (Mrs. Mattison, PM); Camden starts walking
October - annual Halloween in town: J Master Chief, L Anna from Frozen, C bumblebee
November - Sara started a small, part time WFH admin position
December - Santa pics at True Value: C was NOT happy

Here's to hoping that I can achieve my NY resolution and keep up with this bad boy again. Cheers!

Season's end

We hit Remlinger for the final goodbye of the season. Dirk got to go too. Lots of fun!

Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat is always a hit with these two.  Someday they'll look at the camera at the same time right?

Cougar Mountain Zoo

We went for a quick visit in the morning a couple Fridays ago. J caught the attention of one of the cougars... It was a little creepy. She was pacing after him, breathing heavily, and even once jumped up on the fence at him. She was obviously interested in a Jaydan snack. Not cool.

Kiddos finally got signed up for some lessons. They were stoked on day 1. Hoping to get them loving the water!

Soft start

Kindergarten soft start! Walked to school for the first time as a family - J had a 20 minute 1:1 with his teacher on Tuesday. Friday we hit school again for a tour and final meet and greet before official day 1.
